There is a possibility Ford will debut the 2019 Explorer in the 2017 L.A. Auto Show, but it is more likely to tilt in the 2018 Detroit Auto Show. Either way, it should go on sale in summer 2018 as a model year 2019. A prototype for the next-generation Ford Explorer has been detected. The vehicle is expected to be sold in the second half of 2018, as model 2019.
The last time the browser was redesigned was in 2011, when the popular SUV adopted car-like unibody construction and an inline-4 as the base power train. Model 2019 must follow a similar formula, although it appears to be growing in size.
