By the way, a 2024 F-150 model was caught being tested in the vicinity of Dearborn, Michigan. It wears camouflage, but some of the spy shots still provide clues about the new look.
The front and rear ends are covered, so we can speculate a new front bumper, grille, headlights, tailgate, rear bum and taillight design. Rumors have indicated that the F-150 will have C-shaped headlights to match the tiny Ford Maverick.
2024 Ford F150 Refresh

The general structure of the headlights appears to be the same, although the design may vary slightly. Ford already offers the F-150 with a different grille style, but the heavy hood suggests slight revisions to the overall size and shape.
It’s not uncommon for automakers to use excessive camouflage on the rear for minor changes. That could happen here, although our spy sources tell us that a new multi-function tailgate may be in the works. Minor changes to the taillights and new branding on the tailgate are also possible.
Minor changes are also possible in the cabin. Our sources believe an updated central stack is in development; a very close look through the side mirror appears to show the cover sitting above the dash, supporting this theory.
Under the skin, there’s no word on any powertrain changes. Currently, the F-150 is available with many options including an entry-level 3.3-liter V6, a 2.7- or 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, a 5.0-liter V8, and a 3.5-liter PowerBoost hybrid V6. There’s also a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 in the F-150 Raptor R, but that’s a very different rig from the normal F-Series.
These photos represent the first look at our facelift truck, so pinpointing an exact time frame for its debut is difficult. Our sources believe this is a 2024 model-year pickup, which will most likely be revealed in 2023.
Will the 2024 F-150 have new features?

There is a bit of camouflage covering the center stack and the dash. This could indicate that the 2024 F-150 is getting a new layout. There will probably be a new infotainment screen and a digital gauge cluster.
Some critics suspect that the Ford Sync 4 software will be replaced by Google. We’re not happy with this idea because Ford Sync is fast and intuitive.
Will the 2024 F-150 have more power?

Even though Ford was already ahead of the competition with its revolutionary son. And from front to back, there are outlets ready to power your gear.
So while there’s no telling what the redesigned F-150 Lightning will look like, there are plenty of features that make this electric truck worthy of a second generation.

After all, they’re building on two different platforms, so we’d love to see what non-SUVs are working on.

We know that the XLT trim will get fabric upholstery; Lariat added a base leather, and Platinum went all-out with “Premium Nirvana leather” that even included what Ford called “black tuxedo stripes” as decoration. 2024 Ford F150 Price
If you want heated seats, you’ll have to splurge on a select group for $9,500.
Arriving loudly on the news that Ford plans to double its annual production of the F-150 Lightning to 150,000 units, the Blue Oval is poised to allow anyone to configure the electric pickup truck of their dreams.
The EV configurator launched Wednesday with prices and full options to give us the most accurate view of how much it would cost to buy one of Ford’s potentially game-changing pickups.
The good news is that the price below the promised $40,000 is still there, though only before the mandatory $1,695 destination fee.
So, the cheapest F-150 Lightning costs $41,669 before options. This Pro model comes with a standard battery, which Ford estimates will cover 230 miles on a single charge. The same battery is standard on every F-150 Lightning, except for the top-of-the-range 2023 Ford F150 Platinum model.
Prices for the better-equipped XLT trim start at $54,669 and jump to $74,169 if you opt for the long-range battery. The larger battery pack should do 300 miles on a charge, Ford estimates and is a $10,000 option.
Moving to the right, the Lariat trim rings at $69,169, or $79,169 with the remote battery. On top of this trim is Platinum, which costs $92,569 before other options. If you’re curious, the truck can run up to $97,000 with all the equipment Ford has to offer.
Dig deep into the Build & Price configurator, and you might come across some frustrating groupings of options that might leave you scratching your head. Our Roadshow crew was a little confused as to why you should opt for the $9,500 option package just to get heated seats.
Many EVs include heated seats as standard, as this is a very effective game of efficiency for an EV. (It uses far less energy to heat the vehicle’s occupants than it does heating the entire cabin with the HVAC system, especially during cold startup.)
As it happens, if you want hot bread, you’ll have to stock up on a lot of safety gear, Pro Power Onboard, and so on.
In December, Ford closed the reservation book with nearly 200,000 people ready to book. The truck went into production this spring and is likely to be one of the most-watched launches of the year. If there’s a vehicle that can take Americans in an EV, it’s the country’s best-selling vehicle.
2024 Ford F 150 For Sale
