Performance

The 2025 Ford F150 Lightning Platinum has an EPA-estimated range of 300 miles. The EPA also estimates the truck will use 51 kWh of electricity per 100 miles driven, which makes the Lightning slightly less efficient than the Rivian R1T.

In other tests, the 2025 Ford F150 Lightning also managed 332 miles on a full charge, easily topping EPA estimates. During that time, our test truck used slightly less electricity than expected: 45.4 kWh per 100 miles. That beats our results with a quad-motor Rivian R1T on the same route, which covered 317 miles and used 46.9 kWh of electricity per 100 miles.
