You’ll also have the advantage of charging the EV STX at home, potentially lowering charging costs and driving with a full tank every morning.

What We Expect

The next-generation Ford F-150 Lightning will debut next year. We estimate that this generation will use a new battery platform, namely the TE1 platform, which no longer uses the old ICE methods and gets more range in battery use.

Because it is similar to its internal combustion engine sibling, we can use some of the F-150 Lightning’s toughest alternatives. We put on new all-terrain rims and tires for the F-150 Lightning and off-road footpegs from the F-150 Tremor.

The 2026 Ford Lightning STX has a redesigned grille with bright grabber blue accents. It also has STX-specific bed and hood graphics that set it apart from the rest of the F-150 Lightning series.
